Un asalto se vivió en una sucursal del Banco Estado en la comuna de Putaendo de la Región de Valparaíso. Sujetos llegaron con armamento de guerra para cometer el ilícito que se llevaron un botín de sobre de 195 millones de pesos. Este atraco terminó con un carabinero herido, quien permanece fuera de riesgo vital.

De acuerdo a Carabineros, los delincuentes amedrentaron a los funcionarios del banco, sin maniatarlos, y se llevaron este monto millonario. Ellos se fugaron en una furgoneta, y arrojaron aceite y miguelitos para facilitar su escape. Los antisociales cambiaron de vehículo para posteriormente dirigirse a una casa de seguridad, la cual fue rastreada por personal policial.

Este operativo policial terminó con un carabinero herido en su pierna, quien se encuentra fuera de riesgo vital y en consciencia.. Él fue trasladado en helicóptero al Hospital de Carabineros. Información preliminar señala que fue baleado por un arma de puño, y habría sido accidental.

Por este delito, fueron detenidas 10 personas, las cuales se están investigando su grado de participación en el asalto. Dentro de este grupo, todos serían chilenos, mayores de edad y de la zona.. Algunos de estos, ya cuentan con antecedentes policiales.
